Taarab music is a vibrant fusion of pre-Islamic Swahili tunes presented in rhythmic poetic fashion, enriched with Arab-style melodies. It is extremely well-liked, particularly among girls, and is deeply ingrained within the social life of the Swahili people alongside the coastal areas, notably in Zanzibar, Tanga, Mombasa, and Malindi alongside the
